About Us
A Family Run Business
Daryl & Erica, both raised on the south side of Indianapolis, have deep roots in the community. They started their family here in the countryside on the Copeland homestead dating back to the 1800s. The Copeland Family has always been surrounded by animals and advocated for their wellbeing, and over the years were asked by many to take care of pets while they were on vacation, so an idea to start a pet caretaking service started. The idea came together, and overtime, Daryl Erica and their children came up with dreams and ideas to give the best pet caretaking service to their community. In 2007, Country Bound Pet Resort was born on the Copeland homestead.
Daryl and Erica have enjoyed bringing this dream to life! Daryl and Erica enjoy spending time with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and helping manage Country Bound. Their son Zane works as their technology specialist and his family loves their African Cape Parrot and Cavalier. Their daughter Elizabeth and her husband Jackson manage the daily operations of the resort, and love spending time with their Bernese Mountain Dog and Cavaliers!
Driven by a desire to bring the best possible pet experience to the south side of Indianapolis, we exclusively offer custom build suites built by Daryl and family. These suites feature ceramic tile or log-sided walls, glass front doors, and patios for your dog to get fresh air. Seeking input from pet professionals, we have created a facility that meets and exceeds all expectations.
Nestled behind our gated country home, the resort awaits your pets, and we eagerly anticipate meeting you! Pawsitively certain you’ll appreciate our commitment to quality pet care,
Daryl & Erica Copeland
