Medication, Vaccine and General Policies

  • Aggressive Dog Policy

Country Bound Pet Resort’s Aggressive Dog Policy is not breed specific, however, we are a very hands-on facility, and any dog that shows aggression towards any team member must be picked up immediately.

  • Vaccine Policy

For the health of other vacationers and team members, all pets vacationing with us must have vaccines administered by a licensed veterinarian 14+ days before their check in date. The vaccine records must show: veterinary clinic’s name, owner’s name, pet’s name, and clear expiration dates on all administered vaccines. Vaccines and boosters cannot be given within 14 days of your pet’s check in date. For the health and safety of all our vacationers and staff, there will be no exceptions to this policy. Thank you for your understanding. All pets must be up to date on all flea and tick medications. If fleas or ticks are found on your pet, they are not allowed to vacation with us. Cleaning and cancellation fees will incur.

Required Dog Vaccines: Distemper, Rabies & Bordetella

*We recommend talking with your veterinarian about the K9 Flu and Leptospirosis Vaccines

Required Cat Vaccines: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia

  • Medication Policy

Medication must be prepackaged into pill organizers per administration, and owner must provide a means to administer this medication (cheese, pill pockets, etc). For the safety of our team members, we will not force your pet to take their medication and they must take their medication on their own. Medication can be given at the 6:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM times. If your pet requires medication at another time, or has a topical, otic, eye, etc medication, please contact our front desk team before checking in to go over your pet’s needs.
